Looking around, I have been noticing a certain trend all but take over the street fashion scene: Plaid. My siblings wear it, my best friends wear it; it seems as if everyone is wearing it these days. This is an example of that lovely Trickle-Up theory I’ve been studying in school. The everyday people are wearing it now, and soon enough Lady Gaga will be dancing her monsters off with a plaid jumpsuit. I have a feeling the 90s Grunge era of fashion is on the verge of hitting again this year and it is going to hit hard. Expect to see more plaid, more ripped up…well, everything, and more greasy hair (gross). Grunge is coming back.
