Yesterday kicked off the first day of fall for 2014! I can’t believe it’s already here. With the seasons changing and the temperatures finally getting lower, it’s time to get out our leather pants again. I personally cannot wait.

For my advertising class, I had to come up with an ad, poster, and logo for my brand, rockIT Fashion. I am proud to announce that we have a new logo! I’m very excited about this and think it turned out great. It’s simple. It states what rockIT Fashion is all about: Rocking on!

Schools are letting out, the weather is getting hotter every day, swim suits are going on sale, and lemonade stands are popping up everywhere. It is summer time and that means it’s time for some new shoes! Well, to be fair, any time is the time for new shoes. But we’ll just use the weather as an excuse. I have officially created a Facebook page for the blog! Now you have multiple ways to follow today’s latest trends as interpreted by me.
I have been seeing a new silhouette all over the place on celebrities recently. It looks like a modern extreme take on the hourglass figure and is almost like an optical illusion, making the waist look smaller. This is done by amplifying the shape of the bust and the hips in comparison to the waist. What do you guys think of this new trend? Will it catch on and become mass produced at some point?
